Circa 1910s.
Size 1.52m long x 1.23m high.
Bamfield of Dunedin produced this magnificent and extremely uncommon late Victorian enamel sign. A and T Inglis' history is mostly unknown, with the exception of the fact that it was probably the largest department store in Dunedin at the time.
This department store was situated on George Street.
We do not regularly encounter these enamel signs, which are really uncommon and magnificent as far as New Zealand historical signs go.
