Circa 1940s.
Size 1.94m long x 61cm wide x 1.86m high.
A great industrial shelf with Totora shelving, there has been some replacements over the years and these appear to be Matai which is a good match. These shelves were originally from the RNZAF Mangere during World War 2. When World War II began in September 1939, the Mangere airstrip and facilities of the Auckland Aero Club were taken over for use as a flight school. From that point until December 1944, the shelves were used in the military base.
These shelves will be sent flat pack and will require easy assembling.
